Your solution to a healthy working environment.
Using Bipolar Ionization technology proactively purifies indoor air at the source of contamination.
We install world-class products within the central air conditioning system of the building, and as air passes over the products, millions of positively and negatively charged (bipolar) ions are created, much as it happens in nature.
These bipolar ions are deployed into the area through the duct system, seeking out and attacking airborne contaminants that are the cause of most problems for occupants. Our products are safe, low maintenance, energy efficient, and very effective on pollutants such as particulate matter, bacteria, viruses, mold spores, odors, and VOCs.
What Are Oxygen Ions?
Ions are invisible molecules or atoms with an electrical charge that exist in nature in various sizes. Small ions only last between 30 and 300 seconds before losing their charge but are extremely active.
The densities of these small ions range from 900 to 1,100 negative ions and 1,000 to 1,200 positive ions per cubic centimeter (ions/cm3) in perfect natural environments. At the coast, ion density is typically around 500 negative and 600 positive ions/cm3. In urban areas and inside buildings ion levels drop by 80% to 95% and can be barely detectable in small spaces.
Air quality is hinged on the presence of ions. If ion density decreases, so does the quality of the air. Raising the quantity of both positively and negatively charged small oxygen ions instantly and dramatically improves air quality.
How Bipolar Ionisation Disarms Your Building’s Air of Pollutants
Just as the sun produces a natural bio-climate in the atmosphere, rich in positive and negative oxygen ions, so too our bipolar ionisation technology does the same in your building.
The negative ions contain an extra electron while the positive ions are missing an electron resulting in an unstable condition. To restabilize, these bipolar ions proactively attach themselves to atoms and molecules in the air to trade electrons with, effectively neutralizing particulate matter, bacteria and virus cells, odorous gases and aerosols, and VOCs.
1. Airborne particles are charged by the ions, causing them to cluster and be caught in filters | 3. Odorous gases and aerosols oxidise on contact with oxygen ions and are neutralised |
2. Bacteria and viruses bond with oxygen ions and are destroyed | 4. Oxygen ions cause a chemical reaction with VOCs, breaking down their molecular structure. |
Our Zero Ozone Emission Bipolar Ionisation Products
7000 Series Models 7100 / 7200 / 7300 / 7400 These needlepoint ionisers are rated up to 6000 CFM and create positive and negative ions, effectively neutralising harmful pathogens, pollutants, and odours. We can install these units in your supply ducts or inside an HVAC unit. The 7000 Series is UL2998 validated for zero ozone emissions. | <insert image> |
600 Series Models 601/602/603/604 The brush needlepoint ioniser range is rated for 2400 CFM and produces positive and negative ions for the neutralisation of odours, pathogens, and pollutants. This self-balancing ioniser can be installed at the fan inlet of fan coil units, VRF cassettes, ductless splits, WSHP, etc. These ionisers are self-contained in a potted ABS box and are protected with an inline 500mA glass cartridge fuse. The 600 Series is UL2998 validated for zero ozone emissions. | <insert image> |
BAR Series The needlepoint ioniser creates positive and negative ions and disarms harmful micro-organisms, pollutants, and smells. Their low-profile design is ideal for installation on the upstream side of the cooling coil but can be placed downstream in the supply fan section. This unit requires minimal annual maintenance and cleaning for optimal performance. This unit is covered under UL 2998 for zero ozone emissions of less than 5 ppb. | <insert image> |
PA660 Series This series of needlepoint brush type ionisers produces an equal number of positive and negative ionisers to effectively disable harmful pollutants and odours. The PA660 includes dry contacts and can show ioniser functionality to a Building Automation System (BAS). Self-balancing, and highly versatile, this unit can be installed at the fan inlet of an air handling unit, fan coil unit, PTAC, heat pump, or a VRF ductless split system. Self-contained in a potted enclosure, and protected with an inline 500mA glass cartridge fuse, the unit accepts 12V DC, 24V AC, 120V AC and 208-240V AC without the use of an external power supply. Each PA660 ionisation unit can ionise a supply airflow of 2,400 CFM. | <insert image> |
Independent Laboratory Test
The ionisation device reduced over 70% of TVOC, formaldehyde, airborne bacteria and cigarette smoke particulate (0.5u – 5.0u) in under 15 minutes, over 80% in 30 minutes, and over 90% within 45 minutes.
